Clayton W. Semmel, 63, of Bangor, Washington Township, PA, passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, August 14, 2006. Mr. Semmel was a production worker for Hoffmann-LaRoche Company, Belvidere, NJ. Born on March 15, 1943 in Belvidere, NJ, he was the son of Evelyn Kibler Semmel of Oxford, NJ and the late Clayton B. Semmel. Clayton had served in the Army National Guard during peacetime. He was a member of the Flicksville United Church of Christ, Flicksville, PA. Mr. Semmel had enjoyed fishing and skeet shooting. Surviving are a son, Ian Semmel of Phillipsburg, NJ; a daughter, Stephanie Duca and her husband Eric of Easton, PA; a brother, Lamar Semmel of Canadensis, PA; a sister, Margaret Stampone of Columbia, NJ; two grandchildren, Sebastian and Lily Duca. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 144, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
