Bernice Hixson, 89, a resident of Manor Care, Palmer Township, PA, formerly of Bangor, PA and White Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 01, 2006 at the care center. Born on September 27, 1916 in Cornish, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Ella DeReamer Vannatta. Bernice had lived in White Township all of her life until moving to Bangor in 1984. Her husband Elwood Hixson had died January 17, 1976. Mrs. Hixson was a former member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Johnsonville, PA. Surviving are nieces and nephews.
