John Swass, Jr., 87, of the Country View section of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Clover Rest Home, Columbia, NJ. Born in Tiverton, RI, on April 30, 1928, he was the son of the late John and Edna Dube Swass. Mr. Swass was an architect. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ and was a member of the Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, June Frey Swass; six children, Jennie Nix, Andrew Swass, Corinne Swass-Fogarty, Daniel Swass, Frederic Swass, and Matthew Swass; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna Oliver.
