Obituary of Barbara J. Miller

Barbara J. Miller, 81, of Belvidere, NJ went to be with her Lord, Sunday, February 19, 2012. Born on December 26, 1930 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Alice Brown Kieser. A graduate of Presbyterian School of Nursing in 1951, Barbara became a Registered Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital, Newark, NJ. Later she went on to serve as a civilian Army nurse at Fort Eustis, Virginia. In 1996, she retired from the Hackettstown Middle School as the school nurse after 26 years of service. After retirement, Barbara donated time to the Warren County Child Placement Review Board. Barbara was a member of the First Baptist Church of Phillipsburg, NJ. Barbara also had served as a deacon at the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere, where she had also volunteered for the church Food Pantry. Surviving are her four children, Arthur V. Miller III and his wife Jill Tormey-Miller of Jackson, NJ, Karen B. Woodbury and her husband Donald of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Amy R. Barrick and her husband James of Easton, PA, Paul A. Miller and his wife Shannon of San Clemente, CA; five grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Katie, Alden and Graham.
