Obituary of Ralph L. Raub

Ralph L. Raub 86, of Harmony Township peacefully
passed away January 14th at St. Lukes Warren. Ralph
was born Nov. 4th 1938 and was the son of the late
William J. Raub and Pearl (Berger) Raub. He attended
Belvidere High School class of 1957 and served in the
Army National Guard of NJ from 1960-64.

Over the years Ralph enjoyed listening to country
music, going to races and car shows with his wife and
hunting, nature walks and making walking sticks from
vines he would find in the woods. He was employed by
Witco Corp. as a truck driver for 35 years and Hydropress
also as a truck driver before retiring in 2004.

Ralph was predeceased by a sister Shirley Teeter,
and is survived by two younger brothers Budd J. Raub of
PA and Jack Raub of MO. Ralph lost his loving wife Fay
Alexander Raub of 62 years August 16th 2024. He is
survived by a son James Raub and his wife Michelle
Lucas, a daughter Michelle Ruban and her husband Scott
Ruban, as well as a granddaughter Jayden Ruban (Pap’s
Girl) all of Harmony Township.

Ralph was a member of the Harmony Township
Historical Society. He enjoyed mowing his grass, keeping
his bushes and sidewalks edged, tending to his vegetable
garden and washing his vehicles and then resting on his
front porch with fay watching the traffic and waving to
everyone who beeped the horn at them.

Ralph was known for his western shirts, his belt
buckles, his shiny cowboy boots, and his Ford hats. He
will be greatly missed by his family, friends and
neighbors.
