Had many Great times with Red snowmobiling and gatherings. will be missed by all who knew him
Always made it my duty to greet Harold at Oxford Presbyterian Church when I attended. There was some kind of special bond we shared. He was special in my eyes. I looked for Him Sunday and He was not there. Now I know why! I will miss my friend!

Condolences to you Ginny and family.Always Remember Red from when we were kids growing up in the same town of Harmony. And mostly when he came to visit his uncle Fred and aunt Vietta at the farm in Harmony when we all were pretty young . His uncle Fred was my brother-in law.
My heartfelt sympathies to Ginny and family on the passing of Harold, a remarkable soul whose presence illuminated countless memories and humorous tales throughout my life. As honorary parents to all the Hughes Lane kids, you both embodied warmth and kindness. Your enduring friendship with my parents was marked by joyful New Year's parties, exhilarating snowmobiling trips, peaceful fishing on the Delaware, and blissful blueberry picking escapades, all punctuated by Harold's infectious laugh. May his spirit now shine brightly, watching over us with love and peace.
Sincerely
Kelle A Ayers
Our sincere condolences go out to Ginny and family in the loss of Harold. I will remember our camping together many years ago and also some of those New Years Eve parties, especially at Mt. Lake. Fun times!

Harold has always been a big part of our lives. We spent many weekends at their property in PA.
Harold and Ginny were like second parents to our boys Jason & Matthew. Harold spent summers teaching them to fish and swim at their pond and in winter building snow forts for them. He will always be in our heats.
The staff of MacFadden Funeral Home extend our deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your loved one. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for your loss. May our thoughts and prayers provide comfort for your family during this difficult time.
Harold and Ginny were a significant influence in the Dennis Family children’s lives being kind and caring neighbors and members of the Presbyterian church. So many great memories from making ice cream for the church’s Strawberry festival and Christmas Eve church services followed by Santa Claus visits. He was always interests in our school activities and would always walk over for visits when he saw us outside washing our cars or working in the yard. Every visit worked its way into a fun story!!
I have a cane Harold carved proudly displayed in my office. He gave to me on a visit, which has an eagle carved on the handle in the color of the American flag. A preamble to my days in Washington!!
I think of home almost everyday and never without Harold and Ginny in my thoughts. In my last visit to Belvidere, Harold and Ginny took me to tour my childhood home. A last and great memory with Harold.
Harold was a pillar of the Belvidere and Hugh’s’ lane community. We are all blessed to know him and call him a friend, and for me, a mentor and influencer.
RIP, Harold.
