Obituary of Anna Quinn

Anna Quinn passed peacefully on Saturday, January 27th with her daughter at her side.  Private arrangements were entrusted to the MacFadden Funeral Home, Belvidere. 

Anna was born in Brockton, Massachusetts to the late Daniel and Stella Propas.  She felt she had a calling as a teacher even as a child and pursued that dream by attending Bridgewater State University, earning her BA in education. She married Dennis Quinn in 1967 and they eventually settled in Jefferson Township, NJ. 

One of Anna’s greatest joys was opening and running her nursery school, Learning Land Preschool, for many years.  She loved working with children and respected a curriculum from an early age for every child. She also used her gift as an educator by serving as a CCD teacher with St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Jefferson Township for many years.

Her next venture was Great Northern Commercial Services, which she successfully ran with her husband on Greenwich Street in Belvidere. She especially cherished the relationships made with her Riverbend Advertiser customers. 

As a dedicated Rotarian of Rotary Club 5508 in Belvidere, she selflessly donated her time and talent, embodying the spirit of community service. May that spirit inspire many for years to come.

Predeceased by her husband Dennis in 2022; she leaves her daughter, Sara Amento, DVM and her husband Brian and her granddaughters Lydia and Cassidy Amento.
