Obituary of Hal Leroy Snook
Hal Snook of Belvidere, NJ, a devoted husband and loving father, passed away peacefully at home on November 27, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Leanne (McNeilly); their love is a testament to commitment, partnership, and enduring companionship. He is further survived by his two sons, Christopher Snook and his fiancée, Bonnie Fisher of Emmaus, PA, and Andrew Snook and his wife, Tomiko Ferguson of Orlando, FL, along with seven grandchildren, Amber, Jessica, Kyle, Garrett, Joshua, Matthew, Analeigh, and two great-grandchildren Addison, and Watson.
Hal is remembered by his sister, Teresa Mundey of Williamsport, MD, and brother, Charles Snook of Phoenixville, PA.
He served his country with honor, spending four years in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he had a successful career, retiring from Colgate Palmolive in 2017. Hal's work ethic and commitment left a lasting impact on those he worked with.
Beyond his professional life, Hal enjoyed simple pleasures, particularly camping and traveling with his family and friends. These moments created lasting, cherished memories.
A celebration of Hal Snook's life will be scheduled at a later date, allowing friends and family to come together to honor and remember the man who touched their hearts. He will be dearly missed, but his spirit and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
