Georgette K. Ritter, 66 of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center after a long battle with diabetes. Born on July 2, 1947 in Morristown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine Kowalick. In her earlier years, Georgette had worked at her parents' business the Island Dragway. Later, she worked and retired after many years as a credit services representative at Mars Incorporated. She was very active in her children�,�(TM)s organizations and sports, as a leader or supporter from peewee through high school. Georgette and her mother, in the early 1970�,�(TM)s, had joined many others in the bucket brigade to raise funds to start what became the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Patricia J. Dinger. Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Nicholas Ritter; a daughter, Vickie L. Kennelly of Maricopa, AZ,; a son, Michael E. Barna of Glendale, AZ; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Kyle Kennelly , both of AZ; a sister, Kathy DeMarcky; a brother-in-law, Robert Dinger; her first husband, Charles Barna; and �,“All Those Wonderful Kitties�,”.
