Mr. Mark,
My sincere condolences go out to you. I have always had the utmost respect for Sarah and yourself. She truly was a great teacher and person due to the humanistic qualities she possessed. She employed the important intangibles that made her such a pleasure to be around. The people who have been touched by her are truly blessed to have encountered such a rewarding experience. I am proud to say I was one of those people. God Bless the both of you and the positive impact you have had on my life.

Andy, sending our sincere condolences on the passing of you're wife.
Dear Mr. Mark,
I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Mark/Miss Andrews was a spectacular educator and a great woman. May you be comforted by your own memories as well as the memories of the many whose lives she touched. I feel fortunate that I was able to "re-connect" with you both last September at my dad's memorial service, and with you in May at my mom's memorial service. It brought home the message of community, one to which you and Mrs. Mark were key contributors. Wishing you peace and healing.
May she rest in peace and may the Lord+bless her family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and you.

I was a young principal and I quickly learned that Sara Andrews was one of the best teachers Belvidere High School had. Always smiling, funny and gracious it was my pleasure to know her. I am sad for you Andy, losing such a wonderful person and your wife of so many years.......Saul
Mr. Mark, I'm so sorry to hear of your wife's passing. Mrs. Mark was my freshman English instructor (Class of 1961) and the best grammar teacher I ever had. Ever since having her, I've read Dickens's "A Christmas Carol" each December, as she introduced it to me . . . You and she were dating then, and I remember how we students giggled at the idea of such "old people" being interested in one another! Mrs. Mark was an excellent teacher and a fine person. God bless her spirit and help you at this difficult time. --Joan Bischoff
Sara was my cousin, my homeroom teacher and my friend. As much as possible, I would visit her and Andy. I am pleased and proud that she was part of my life. Andy, other family members, Belvidere and I will miss her.
My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to you, Andy during this sad time. I will always remember Sara as a wonderful friend to my mom and a gracious and sweet lady!!She will be missed by so many people....be comforted by the fact that she is in glorious Heaven for eternity!!
I am very sorry to have read about Mrs Mark's passing. I remember being a guest at a small gathering that she and Mr Mark had in their home for some office employees at Belvidere School District. As I was also a recent graduate from BHS it was an honor. Mrs Mark was delightful and very kind to me, as was Mr Mark. My sincerest condolences to you Mr Mark.
Andy, I'm so sorry for your loss. Sara was your soul mate as well as a wonderful teacher, mentor and kind woman.
Her diction was impeccable, her sense of humor , kindness, fairness and love of her job and students shined through her every move. She was an inspiration to all who entered her classroom. Sarah Mark left an indelible impression on every person she came in contact with throughout her life. Thank you Sarah, God Bless you.

It's been 50 years since I graduated from BHS, but Sara has always been a part of my life. She was not only my English teacher but someone you could confide in when you needed advise. She was always there to listen and be an encouragement. She will be missed, but the impact she had on each one of us will last forever.
