Condolences
I was deeply saddened to hear of Bud’s passing and would like to express my sincere sympathies to his family at this difficult time. I had the opportunity to work with Bud for over 10 years. He was a highly valuable and respected member of our investigative team and throughout the years, shared many experiences, accomplishments, and stories that will never be forgotten. Bud was a great guy to work with and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Lucie and family,
I was deeply sorry to hear that Bud had died. I always remembered him as a strong, healthy man. I couldn't imagine that he had passed away so soon. I also remember him as a very happy person who always had a smile.
I know that you were all instrumental in making him such a happy person, for you knew and appreciated that he was a wonderful husband and father. He was very proud of all of you.
He was also a man of deep faith who realized that it was God's great gift to all of us, so he lived it himself and wanted to pass it on to others. He did this in many different ways. He made good use of the time God gave him, so you have many happy memories of him and he is now gone to God where he will pray for you and for all of us.
I shall offer the Holy Mass for the happy repose of his soul and I'll remember him and all of you in my masses and prayers.
Father Michael

I have known and worked with Bud since he first came to First Union Bank in 1996. He was always the most caring, generous, fun loving person you would ever meet. Over the years we got to know each other's families through our conversations. He loved his wife and children more than life it's self. I will miss this great man, but will think of him fondly for the rest of my life. May God keep you close and in his heart.
